PASTOR SAMUEL & LADY KATASHA TYSON
Pastor Tyson
Pastor Samuel Tyson is a man that loves the Lord and is called according to the Lords purpose. He has been the husband of one wife Katasha Tyson for over twenty three years. He is the father of three sons Myquan, Samaad and Noah. Pastor Tyson was born in Portsmouth New Hampshire on September 29,1971 to Samuel and Mary Tyson. He is one of seven siblings. His family moved to Charlotte NC, shortly after he was born and has resided in the Charlotte area to this present day. Pastor Tyson started his formal education matriculating in the Charlotte Mecklenburg school system. Upon graduating high school in 1990, he entered barber school with the goal of opening his own barber shop and beauty salon. In 1994, Pastor Tyson successfully achieved the goal of owning and operating his own barbershop/beauty salon in the Charlotte area. Several years later, he continued his endeavors by enrolling in Mingle School of Real Estate and later became a licensed Realtor for the state of NC. After almost a decade of business ownership and the experiences of entrepreneurship, Pastor Tyson sold his business and began pursuing other career opportunities. Today, he currently holds a lead management position with a regional company specializing in providing goods and services to the major homebuilders in North and South Carolina. Pastor Tyson was baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost some 30 years ago. He received salvation while attending Calvary Christian Church of the Apostolic faith Inc., under the leadership of the late Bishop Edward. C. Roberts and his wife Mother Betty Roberts. Shortly after receiving salvation, he began to serve faithfully on the usher board and in any other capacities as needed. During this time, he received an abundance of biblical teaching and discipleship training. While serving there for over a decade, he met his future mother-in-law, the late Pastor Belinda Nelson-Wright, and later met her daughter, Katasha Nelson. Pastor Tyson has been a member of The Lamb of God Deliverance Tabernacle since its founding over nineteen years ago. Pastor Tyson accepted his call to ministry and leadership while serving under the successor to Pastor Belinda Wright, Bishop William Mccollum. He served faithfully under the leadership of Bishop Mccollum for over three years. Pastor Tyson truly believes that just as in the days of old, The Lord is still using seemingly ordinary people to do extraordinary work in His kingdom.
God has chosen Pastor Tyson for such a time as this.
Lady Tyson
Lady Katasha Tyson is a dedicated and compassionate leader, deeply rooted in her faith and committed to fostering an inclusive, faith-centered community at Lamb of God Deliverance Tabernacle, where she has been a member since its founding. As the daughter of the late Pastor Belinda Nelson-Wright, she carries forward her mother’s legacy of service and commitment to ministry, serving alongside her husband, Pastor Samuel Tyson. Certified in early childhood development, Lady Katasha has a natural gift for connecting with individuals of all ages, extending her impact beyond the church walls. Known for her kind heart, supportive presence, and love of baking, she brings warmth and joy to those she serves, embodying a spirit of grace and compassion that strengthens our congregation and inspires others on their spiritual journeys.
